This an adventure that will a world war II Vehicle: 4-wheel-drive jeep willys. By using this open air jeep, travelers can enjoy Bali’s nature and fresh air. The journey will pass different kinds of landscape and terrains that is typically cannot be reached by other vehicles: like for example Mount Batur Caldera.
This journey will be accompanied by professional photographer to make the moments memorable. The journey will stops at different interesting locations:
Stop #1: Elephan Cave (Goa Gajah)
The Elephant Cave is an ancient man made cave, which is found again in the year 1923. Travelers can find 6 statues of women that holds a water spray that believed to have given a positif aura in order to purify oneself.
Travellers will also take a tour to 2 areas. The first is an area that was used to spread the teaching of Siva God, and the second area is called Tukad Panggung: a 13 layers Buddha stupa carved inside natural rocks.
Stop #2: Mount Kawi (Tampak Siring)
Mount Kawi, is a mountain cliff that is so massively carved into giant temple and statues.
The temple of Mount Kawi was built in the 11th century during the Marwadewa Dynasty. This location has become the resting place of the ancient kings.
Stop #3: Coffee Plantation
This is an interesting stop where the traveler can learn about types of Balinese coffee, Balinese coffee roasting and brewing, and can enjoy the aroma and taste of the authentic coffee.
Stop #4: Lunch
This adventure might be tiring, thus traveler will stop to take a rest and have lunch at the floating restaurant. This unique restaurant floats on Batur Lake with a panoramic view of the majestic Mount Batur. This experience is truly one of a kind. Travelers will enjoy the local specialty: Tilapia fish that is locally breed and harvest.
Stop #5: Caldera of Mount Batur and Black Lava
The journey continues to Mount Batur. Along the way, traveler will witness the refreshing view of Balinese rice terraces, where the locals practice their long-time rice cultivation methods. Mt. Batur caldera is a big volcanic crater that was formed 22 thousand years ago. Mount Batur is a part of Pacific Ring of Fire, which is rich with deep volcanic soil. After the inclusion of Mount Batur in the UNESCO Global Network, its name has changed to Batur Global Geopark. During the climb, travelers can view the rice terrace again from different perspective. The rice terraces is uniquely located on the slope of the mountains, utilizing the natural contour of the landscape.
